Dear Friends,

The Foundation for Academic Excellence and Access (FAEA) is offering 150 scholarships (sponsored by Confederation of Indian Industry and Tata Group of Companies) to bright students from Schedule Caste/Schedule Tribe and other disadvantaged students, to enable them to pursue higher education in the institutions of their choice anywhere in the country. For this purpose ads will appeared in newspapers till 17th May 2008. We shall be grateful if you could kindly bring this to the notice of as wide a group of students as possible. You are also requested to personally inspire bright students from these groups to apply for the scholarships.

In addition , there are a few general category scholarships available for other socially and economically disadvantaged  students in the general category who have secured more than 90 percent marks in their higher secondary examinations and have secured admission in the institutes of national importance like IIT’s/ Medical School/National Law School or other institutions accredited by NAAC as A+.

The forms can also be downloaded from our website. Alternatively, students can also apply online at http://www.faeaindia.org (most preferred way)

The last date for receiving the application form is 15th June 2008.

With warm regards,

Gordhan
